Value of 1919 One Pound Bahamas Government Bank Note
The Currency Note Act 1919 Bahamas Government One Pound
Description: The highest denomination issued by The Bahamas Government in 1919 is this one pound bank note. Most notes will sell for between $200 and $750. High grade notes will of course trade for prices above and beyond that range.
Varieties: The first one pound notes for this series were issued with serial numbers that did not have a letter in front of them. Later notes have a serial number that begins with an A. Your note could be signed by Grant or Burns. There is a very small premium for the Grant signature. However, that premium only applies to high grade notes.
