Value of 1953 One Pound Bahamas Government Bank Note
The Currency Note Act 1936 Bahamas Government One Pound
Description: These one pound bank notes have appreciated a good bit since their initial release in 1953 (not 1936). Even a low grade note should sell for around $100. Notes in perfect condition can be worth slightly more than $1,000. That is a pretty good return for 60 years.
Varieties: There are four different varieties to this issue based on who signed the center and right hand side of the note. Notes signed by Roberts at the right are the most common. All other varieties are worth about 50% more.
