1936 Bahamas Bank Notes with Queen Elizabeth II
These notes are also a little bit tricky. The engraved date says 1936, but these bank notes were not issued until 1953. This time Queen Elizabeth II replaced her father as the central image on each of these bank notes. A simple rule here is that the higher the denomination, and the higher the grade, the more money your note will be worth. So five pound notes in perfect condition are scarce. Low grade four shillings notes are very common.
