Laws 27 of 1904 and 17 of 1918 – Waterfall Jamaica Bank Notes
These bank notes from Jamaica were first issued in the 1920s and used until money was redesigned in 1939. So while it may appear that these are from 1904 or 1918, they aren’t actually quite that old. These are some truly beautiful bank notes. Each note has a small portrait of George V. A waterfall is the center vignette. The back of each note shows a river and a bridge. These were only issued as five and ten shillings bank notes. They are relatively available in low grades. High grade notes are in demand and rarely encountered.
