Value of 1904 & 1918 Ten Shillings Bank Note from Jamaica
1904/1918 George V Ten Shillings Jamaica Bank Note
Description: This is the highest denomination issued by Jamaica before 1939. Of course ten shillings was not a tremendous amount of money even back in the 1920s. Not a lot of these were printed, but some have survived. Prices start at about $400 and can go up sharply from there based on condition. We are certainly interested buyers.
Varieties: There are no varieties for this design type, year, and denomination.
Portrait: George V
Text: Jamaica – Ten Shillings Currency Notes are Legal Tender for the payment of any amount – Ten Shillings – Issued Under The Authority of Law 27 1904 & Law 17 of 1918 – Island Treasurer – Thos De La Rue London
