Prices for Two Dollar 1963 Legal Tenders

Value Guide for 1963 Two Dollar Bank Notes

Year:  1963

Denomination:  Two Dollar Bank Note

Type:  Legal Tender (United States Note)

$2 Bill Front Picture:

Description:   1963 marks the last year that red seals were printed on two dollar bills. This is also the last year that Monticello was used on the back of two dollar bills. Sadly though, those are the only noteworthy facts about these bank notes. They are extremely common.

Seal Type:  All two dollar bills from 1963 have a red seal on the right hand side of the bank note.

Varieties:   1963 $2 bills can either be marked as the series of 1963 or the series of 1963A. There is no preference for one over the other. They are both very common.

Portrait:  Thomas Jefferson

Value:  These really aren’t that old. Most sell for around $3 each. Examples in perfect condition are generally worth about $8 each. Stars notes are still very common and only command small premiums.

**We do not buy any of these $2 notes unless you have a consecutive run of 50 or more. If you are looking to sell then we would advise checking out a local coin shop.**<
