Prices for Two Dollar 1953 Legal Tenders
Value Guide for 1953 Two Dollar Bank Notes
Year: 1953
Denomination: Two Dollar Bank Note
Type: Legal Tender (United States Note)
$2 Bill Front Picture:
Description: This is your standard two dollar bill with Monticello on the reverse. These seem exotic to novices because of their red seal. However, they are actually extremely common, even in perfect condition and as star notes.
Seal Type: 1953 $2 bills have a red seal on the right hand side of each bank note.
Varieties: These can be from the series of 1953, 1953A, 1953B, or 1953C. They are all common in both circulated and uncirculated condition.
Portrait: Thomas Jefferson
Value: Two dollar bank notes from 1953 (all series) sell for about $8 in perfect condition and around $3 in circulated condition. Even star notes are rarely worth more than $10.
**We do not buy any of these $2 notes unless you have a consecutive run of 50 or more. If you are looking to sell then we would advise checking out a local coin shop.**
