Description: This is the second and last type of treasury note issued by The U.S. These are actually quite popular with collectors. The 1891 example is usually a much cheaper alternative to the similar looking $2 bill from 1890.
Seal Type: All 1891 $2 treasury notes have the same type of red seal as you see on the example above.
Varieties: There are three signature combinations that were used on 1891 $2 treasury notes. Each signature combination is equally rare, so it does little to affect the value.

Value: Circulated 1891 $2 treasury notes are actually pretty common. You can buy a very nice looking lightly circulated note for less than $600.
