Seal Type: The red seal you see on the example above is the same type found on all 1875 $2 legal tender notes.
Varieties: Four different types of 1875 $2 legal tender notes were printed. They are either signed by Allison and New or Allison and Wyman. The most common two types do not have a series letter stamped on it. Series A and Series B notes are about twice as rare. Each note is clearly marked with the series letter if it is present.
