Value and History: The note pictured above is from the series of 1907. One thousand dollar gold certificates from 1922 look exactly the same. There is only one type of 1922 $1,000 note; they are all signed by Speelman and White. Values range from about $10,000 to $30,000. There are six different types of 1907 $1,000 gold certificates. The two most common varieties are signed by Parker and Burke and Teehee and Burke. Those two signature combinations have a similar value to the range we just mentioned.
