Price Guide for Rare Red Seal Federal Reserve Notes

Value and History: We love $100 1914 red seals. You could spend a decade or more trying to put together a complete set from this series in VF condition or better. Some notes are just very scarce. The great thing about these is that they are still showing up. Some are hidden in cash hoards in Europe and others are tucked away in safety deposit boxes in the U.S. just waiting to be found. Very generic examples still sell for around $1,200. However, there is plenty of room for that valuation to be much higher depending on the condition, serial number, and issuing district.
