Values of $100 1882 Date Back National Bank Notes

Price Guide for Rare Date Back National Bank Notes

Years:  1882-1901

Denomination:  One Hundred Dollar Bank Note

Type:  Date Back National Bank Note

Vignette:  Battle of Lake Erie, Liberty

$100 Bill Front Picture:

Value and History:   These are kind of odd bank notes. A national bank had to originally charter or recharter between 1888 and 1901, and still be in business past 1908 in order to issue 1882 date backs. I know that is confusing, but trust us on the information. Not very many banks fit that criteria. So these blue seal notes are actually fairly scarce. Sadly though, they just aren’t tremendously popular in today’s market. If you are looking for an underappreciated area to collect, these bank notes might be for you.

We buy all of these $100 bank notes issued by The United States. The market for rare paper money is very active right now. If you were ever considering selling then now might be a good time to take a price quote. You can text pictures to 864-430-4020. You can also attach pictures to an email message.
