Varieties: This is a complex issue. There are brown seal Hawaii notes, yellow seal North Africa notes, red R and red S experimentals. Plus you have all of the standard 1935, 1935A, 1935B, 1935C, 1935D, 1935E, 1935F, 1935G, and 1935H issues.

Value: Your garden variety 1935 (with any series letter) $1 silver certificate is worth about $1.50. Hawaii notes are worth about $25, as are yellow seal North Africa notes.
