Series of 1914 $5 Federal Reserve Note (Red Seal)

Series of 1914 five dollar bills can have either a red seal or a blue seal. The note pictured below has a red seal and it is the rarer variety of the two. Despite being comparatively rare, 1914 $5 red seals are still fairly common. Circulated examples usually sell for around $200. Uncirculated examples are few and far between. They can be worth thousands. Abraham Lincoln is shown at the center of each bill. If the serial number is below 100 then you can expect a nice premium. Otherwise the serial number is not especially important.
