Series of 1902 $5 Blue Seal National Currency

Ben Harrison is featured on the left hand side of each series of 1902 five dollar bill. This type of currency is known as a national bank note or national currency. They were issued by thousands of different banks in the country between 1908 and 1928. Each $5 bill says series of 1902. However, that date really just relates to the style of the bill. It is not indicative of when the bill was actually printed. All fifty states and Puerto Rico printed 1902 $5 blue seals. They are fun to collect and sometimes hotly contested.
