If you like George Washington, then you probably need a series 701 ten dollar military payment certificate. It has a rarely used image of Washington. There is also a lovely vignette showing Mount Vernon. Each note has a serial number that begins and ends with the letter F. There is a smaller black number printed on each note. That number represents the plate position. It never affects the value of MPCs. The front of each ten dollar series 701 note also has text that reads “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” Contact us if you have one for sale.
