I think it is safe to say that series 681 ten dollar military payment certificates are the first and only piece of American money to feature a tank. We always advise that higher denomination MPCs were subject to contemporary counterfeiting and the same applies to these. There is no incentive to counterfeit them today because most examples are only worth a few times face value at best. That rule changes once we start talking about replacements.
