Series 681 ten cent military payment certificates are really common. The design was used on all other 681 fractional issues. It is fun to think about people sitting around a table somewhere in Vietnam with a bunch of military payment certificates as poker chips. You can bet that the ten cent note was frequently the big blind. Most of these can be bought for a couple dollars today. Even rare replacements in perfect condition don’t sell for more than about $300.
