The first thing you notice about series 521 ten cent military payment certificates is probably their color. These are printed using vibrant shades of purples and blues. All series 521 notes were printed by the Forbes Lithograph Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts. Like all earlier MPCs, this issue also included the following text: “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” You can see from our value range that 521 ten cent notes are very common.
